STUDENT AUTHORIZATIONS (STUDENT VISAS)

Student Authorizations are not required for courses that last three months or less. If your program will be longer than three months, you should apply for a Student Authorization at the closest Canadian Embassy or Consulate, before coming to Canada. Before applying, you should obtain a Letter of Acceptance from the school. We will send a Letter of Acceptance to you, after we receive your application and tuition fees. Letters of Acceptance are usually issued within two days. Immigration Canada's homepage address is: http://cicnet.ingenia.com

A Medical Examination is often required for any student who will be in Canada for five months, or longer. The processing time for Medical Examinations can be two to three months. Consequently, you should have a Medical Examination done as soon as you know that you will be coming to Canada. If you do not have enough time to wait for the results of the Medical examination, you may first apply for a 16 week program, and a 16 week Student Authorization. You may then take the Medical Examination and apply for an extension of your Student Authorization, after you arrive to Canada.
