The Vancouver Language Centre works very hard to ensure you will only be exposed to English. We believe the best way to learn is full immersion, so your cooperation is required. Students are requested to only speak English at all times, except in emergency situations. Remember that you and your classmates are at the Vancouver Language Centre to learn English. If you speak your native language with other students, classroom time will be less productive for them, as well as for you.
