Vancouver English Centre is certified by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. You must have an official Letter of Acceptance from a Certified Institution, before you can obtain a Student Authorization (student visa).

Certification by Human Resources Development Canada also allows some students to deduct Vancouver English Centre tuition and application fees from their income, for tax purposes.

Canadian students who have attained the age of 16 years and who enroll at the Vancouver English Centre in order to acquire or improve skills necessary for a specific occupation may qualify for a tuition tax credit. Expenses for homestay and leisure activities are not tax deductible.

Vancouver English Centre is incorporated within the province of British Columbia (number 440902). The Vancouver English Centre actively supports several educational organizations, such as NAFSA, TESOL, and TEAL.

The Vancouver English Centre administers an official TOEIC test every month. Official scores and certificates are ready approximately two weeks after the test.

Each Vancouver English Centre student currently enrolled in a TOEIC preparation course is entitled to one TOEIC test at no charge. Only students who are currently enrolled in a VEC program may take free tests. Students must register at least 7 calendar days before the test date. Please read these rules carefully. There will be no exceptions for any reason!
